About JI Xin

JI Xin is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Hangzhou and Shanghai, China. He received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Fine Arts from the China Academy of Art in 2010 and 2013. He then participated in an Exchange Project in Paris in 2012. JI’s exploration traces the intersection of different narratives from the East and West classical aesthetic, where traditional Eastern modelling methods and Western oil painting techniques are intertwined in his canvas.

About Ziping WANG

Ziping WANG is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Shenyang, China. She earned a Master of Fine Arts from the Pratt Institute in New York in 2020, and a Bachelor of Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2017. Drawing on the visual languages of advertising and illustration, WANG’s paintings are inspired by the overwhelming experience of living within an attention economy in the digital era. WANG was the recipient of the First Place prize of the 12th Annual Juried Exhibition at Archway Gallery (Houston, 2020). She recently created a “Sweet tooth” handbag, one of the five artistic collaborations in the 5th edition of the Artycapucines Collection by Louis Vuitton.

About XIA Yu
