Tien-Min Liao
Tien-Min Liao is a New York/Taipei based communication designer focused on graphic design and branding. After getting a BA degree in Advertising, she won The Ministry of Education Scholarship to advance her education at Pratt Institute. Her work has been published in Asia-Pacific Design, IdN Extra, How Magazine, APPortfolio vol.2 and many more, as well as featured in design portals including behance network, vimeo, ffffound, colossal. She has also won iF Concept Award and Red Dot Award.
When Liao came to the United States, she noticed that many people don’t know much about her hometown, Taiwan. As a designer, she thinks she should do something to promote this beautiful island.
By way of a beautifully designed promotion set featuring a book, bookmark and poster that are filled with delicate paper-illustration and infographics, Liao set out to share with the world all those interesting facts about Taiwan.
