Khairuddin Hori began his career as an artist and was most recently Deputy Director of Artistic Programming at Palais de Tokyo in Paris, France. Prior to his move to Paris, Khairuddin was Senior Curator at the Singapore Art Museum and later, Senior Curator at the Curatorial Development department of the National Heritage Board, Singapore. In 2015, amongst other projects, Khairuddin curated the solo exhibition of French Quistrebert brothers, young Chinese artist Tianzhuo Chen, also group exhibition Secret Archipelago at Palais de Tokyo, and co-curated Open SEA at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lyon. Other projects include Budi Daya (Malay Heritage Center, Singapore, 2014), Welcome to the Jungle (Yokohama Museum of Art and Contemporary Art Museum Kumamoto, Japan, 2013), Singapore Biennale (2013), Lee Wen: Lucid Dreams in the Reverie of the Real (2012) and Negotiating Home, History and Nation (Singapore Art Museum, Singapore, 2011). Khairuddin is also part of a nascent collective DXXXXD.
