The K11 art village in Wuhan Guanggu has a shared vision with all other K11 Art Foundation (KAF) platforms to foster the development of Chinese contemporary art that provides studio space for artists to create and exhibit their works. The K11 art village Artist-in-Residence Programme is now accepting applications from passionate artists all around the world.

In 2017, the K11 art village will relocate to a new permanent premise adjacent to the Guanggu K11 Art Mall in East Lake High-Tech Development Zone. The to-be-inaugurated K11 art village will consist of a total of eight 50-to-80-square-metre artist studios, a 451-square-metre art exhibition hall, and a 75-square-metre multi-functional space, to facilitate talks and workshops. Successful applicants are provided studios for free, with channels for artists to realise their innovative and creative ideas. Resources available to artists have been further developed in the K11 art village, for the realisation of diverse artistic outcomes and to support production.
