This session will also explain how sunlight and artificial light affect the conservation of artworks, and how to minimise degradation of artworks through light exposure. Along with these practical considerations, this session also covers the various factors that influence and change the viewer’s perspective when viewing and appreciating art, such as colour temperature and the CRI (Colour Rendering Index) of the light fixtures.
