Gong Lei
Gong Lei (b. 1980, Guizhou, China) joined the Urban Parts Contemporary Artists in Guiyang in 2007. He graduated from the Guizhou Normal University Fine Arts Academy with a degree in Oil Painting in 2008.
Gong’s first solo exhibition is mix/reset” (Organhaus Art Space, Chongqing, 2010). He has also participated in different group exhibitions, including The Narrative of Guiyang” – Urban Parts Contemporary Artists on the New Long March (Guangzhou 53 Art Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art Chengdu, 2012-13), Discontinuity – Guiyang K11 art village x Urban Parts Contemporary Artists Group Exhibition (Huafu Art Space, Shanghai, 2012), Incomplete ∙ imagination ∙ eat (Organhaus Art Space, Chengdu), Mix and Match – Images 2011 China Contemporary Oil Painting Invited Exhibition (Museum of Contemporary Art Chengdu and Hubei Museum of Art, 2011).
His works are widely collected by Museum of Contemporary Art Chengdu, Chengdu Blueroof Art Gallery, Organhaus Art Space (Chongqing), Guangzhou 53 Art Museum and Hua Fu Art Space (Shanghai).
